Day off of diving. Went to West Bay, like Veradero, but w/ more ‘YEA BUDDIES’ and lizards. Lots of beaten up coral. Half Moon Bay offers more life for the snorkeler. Big barracudas. Yellow-tailed damselfish (juveniles). Eels. Squid. Trumpetfish. Jawfish. Lionfish in the open. Arrow Crabs. But most impressively, an octopus that I followed around for 15 minutes while it tried to shoo me off. Don’t worry I didn’t touch it. I made an omelet. Snorkeling makes me feel sick - I need to lay down now.
